| As you watch the slide show, you will see how Clay's appearance changed while he was on American Idol, but his morals are still the same. |
How I learned of this kind and caring young man!
| One day I heard my grandson and his friends talking about a "guy" from Raleigh who might win and was very good. I asked them what sport they were talking about. Soon, this "Kid" was on every news program I watched! Wow! When I heard him sing, I decided to watch the show, American Idol. I didn't even know when it aired until the reporter gave the day and time. I saw and heard an incredible young man and began to watch interviews and learned so much. I would be very happy if he was my son. Not just because of his talent, but because of his values.
He works with 'Special Needs' children and is totally untouched by the publicity. He is "Real".
He loves God, family, and life! Clay seems to touch the hearts of every person who hears him, no matter what their age. My dear friend, Deb (Dreamwork Designs) lives in Canada, and it appears he is popular there, also. Clay is our Home-Town hero--but he was a hero to these 'Special Needs' kids long before his fame.
Thank you Christopher (my grandson) for introducing me to Clay. Thanks Clay! |
